Shana Dixon Wins

An historic win for Dixon and the Williamstown Community 

According to iBerkshires reporting, Shana Dixon has been elected to a one-year seat on the Williamstown Select Board by a vote of 496 to 377. Dixon's victory marks a historic milestone, as she becomes the first Black woman to serve on the town’s Select Board.

Dixon ran against Jane Patton, a long-time member of the board who most recently served as chair.
